Trauma and Drama
Well while the time has flown by since my return from Montreal I must admit that it has not necessarily been a smooth ride.
A slight mishap occur this past Saturday which has resulted in a totaled vehicle and a multitude of colorful bruises, split lip, and scraped up chin and neck. Throughout this process I have been so thankful for the support shown by friends, family and loved ones. It is true that you find out who your real friends are when the chips are down. And at this point let me just go on the record as saying that I am truly blessed with a wealth of real friends.
So the adventure continues as I deal with insurance agents (who thus far have been spectacular), car dealerships (I’m still in the window shopping phase) and other assorted fun things both at work and at home. So a very grateful THANK YOU to all the friends and family who kept me in your prayers on the day of the accident and every subsequent day since. While I’m not out of the tunnel yet (the new car thing has me terrified) as do the thought of big car payments, there is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel. So thank you all once again for everything you have done. Your continued prayers would of course still be greatly appreciated as things are not yet finished but I know that God will provide as he deems fitting.
